  I am sad to finally write this review but I want to help other parents make choices.
  
  My child wasn't the best student but tried and had no behavior problems. But, even the worst student should not be repeatedly bullied and humiliated in front of other children - especially by the senior staff.
  
  If a child has a question on their work, staff should not be allowed to publically embarrass them for asking the question.
  
  So, my child no longer goes there as I don't expect this from any school much less a "Christian" one.
  
  I understand that I might sound like a mom with an old grudge and so I will try to give you some proof of what I am saying. If you do go for a tour, pay close attention to the school pictures hanging on the wall in the main office where the nice secretary is. Anyone who has been in La Vernia for awhile can tell you that our town has been really growing...we even have a HEB now. LVISD and other area private schools are growing and growing. Now, please LOOK at the school pictures hanging in their office. While everything else in our area is growing, you will see that this school has been *shrinking*...so I am not the only one who sees the problems and obviously not the only one whose children no longer go to this school.
  
  I give the second star for the other staff who seem like they try their best but looking at those office pictures leads one to think they won't be there long either as there is just certain staff (including the problem) that have remained there over time.
  
  The pastor's wife who is like the figurehead administrator was always very, very nice but is unaware of what goes on. The senior staff go to her church and so she probably would not let herself believe some parent over her church friends which is why I did not see any point in trying to speak to her about the situation.
  
  I do think Christian education is a good idea and this school would be worth looking at if there are ever big changes there.
